Spyderco
Spyderco is a US-American manufacturer of knives: folding knives, outdoor knives, leisure knives of all kinds. Popular mainly because of easy handling and very good blade steels. Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. The first product was not a knife, but a sharpening device: the Tri-Angle Sharpmaker™ system. Still one of the most versatile and uncomplicated systems on the market today. The first knife followed in 1981 - with a revolutionary innovation: serrated edge on a folding knife and a large round hole in the blade for one-handed operation.
